A straight front view shows a tiny pink starter home with a dark roof, blue door, front patio seating, potted plants, astroturf lawn, black iron fence, mailbox, and flamingo decor.

Built on a custom 1×1 lot, this fully furnished starter uses its tiny footprint to turn bright astroturf into part of the design instead of leftover yard space. Pink siding, a dark roof, a blue front door, potted plants and front patio seating give the house plenty of personality without wasting a tile.

The fenced yard makes the little house feel contained, tidy and just odd enough to belong in the Astroturf collection. The patio table and chairs add a bit of rummage-sale charm, as if the Sim who moved in brought what she had, found what she could and still wanted somewhere cheerful to sit.

The fenced astroturf serves an important purpose: flamingo protection. During testing, a Sim named Minnie Smalls arrived by taxi, stepped onto the lot, kicked one flamingo and somehow triggered a chain reaction that made both flamingos explode and disappear. The revised fence has no gate into the grass because those birds clearly need a protected habitat.

Inside, the compact layout fits a bed, bathroom, kitchen, sofa, bookcase, television, dining space and small table for the computer delivery that arrives shortly after move-in. Pink and green walls carry the astroturf spirit indoors, while the furnishings give one Sim a functional start in a tiny space that still feels cheerful.

The same 1×1 layout can also be recolored and lightly redesigned into a whole row of tiny starter homes. Change the siding, fence and furnishings and this little design can become a cheerful strip of compact Astroturf houses.

Teeny Tiny Astroturf may be small, but it gives one Sim a bed, a bath, a snack, a sofa, a computer spot, and two flamingos safely fenced away from everyone’s worst impulses.
