Diagonal Front View

Breaking away from traditional suburban design at nearly every opportunity, this striking modern home embraces diagonal architecture, asymmetrical layouts, and towering walls of glass to create a structure that feels both futuristic and strangely artistic at the same time. Sharp angles, wraparound balconies, and massive vertical windows give the exterior a dramatic sculptural quality, making the house feel more like modern art Sims accidentally moved into.

Inside, the unusual diagonal layout transforms ordinary rooms into open flowing spaces filled with sharp sightlines and natural light. The oversized windows surrounding the lower level flood the interior with sunlight while creating the constant feeling that the entire home is somehow larger than it actually is.

Diagonal Main Floor

The main living spaces remain intentionally open and flexible, allowing Sims to shape the interior around their own tastes without fighting cramped hallways or awkward tiny rooms. Elevated ceilings, modern flooring, and the floating staircase all contribute to the home’s clean minimalist atmosphere while still leaving enough warmth to feel livable instead of sterile.

Diagonal Second Floor

Upstairs, the angled design continues with elevated living areas and broad window views extending across nearly every side of the structure. Exterior balcony access adds even more openness to the home, creating perfect spaces for relaxing outdoors, contemplating architecture, or dramatically staring into the distance while pretending to understand abstract art.

Despite its bold modern appearance, the home remains surprisingly functional beneath all the geometry. Underneath the diagonals, glass, and architectural experimentation is a layout clearly designed by somebody who still expected actual Sims to survive living there.

Residents may begin referring to ordinary rectangular houses as “visually uninspired.”

Part of the Majestically Modern Houses Set

These homes are all boldly modern additions to any town or city. Each one is designed around a slightly different style of living while maintaining the same strong focus on contemporary architecture and spacious layouts. Their size and modern features come at a considerable cost, however, meaning only Sims with successful careers and healthy bank accounts are likely to afford them comfortably.
