Sims and passersby can finally enjoy trees as they were meant to be enjoyed. Originally seeded by pioneer Malachi McSims, the beloved Grougler trees have grown into a neighborhood favorite. Sims can now climb, socialize, daydream, enjoy food or a nap in the shade, forage tree nuts and much more. Sims can also improve skills by carving designs, studying tree phytology, or testing their strength against its sturdy trunk. Trees come in five (5) different colors: Light Green, Dark Green, Orange, Red, and Pink.

Tree-related Activities Include:
- Daydream – Relax under or around the tree and let your thoughts run free while you gain Comfort points and a small Energy boost. Pets can do this too.
- Nap In Shade – Sleep and dream, rotate between supine and prone positions for better Comfort and Energy gains, and hope nearby Sims don’t get too noisy.
- Climb – Gain Fun points while getting a lay of the land and possibly disturbing some birds. Multiple Sims can climb at the same time.
- Hug – Sims with Outdoor Interests gain more Fun points than those who don’t, and some nature lovers get a little too affectionate. Children won’t Hug, but they can view & dance excitedly.
- Collect Bugs – A fun activity for nature lovers and those not concerned with gross things like neatness. It will remove some bugs if already on the lot such as roaches, flies, or even mice.
- Eat Sandwich – A light meal that Sims or visitors can sit & enjoy together and build relationship points through conversation. They can also talk with nearby Sims doing separate activities, such as climbing or collecting bugs.
- Eat Grougler Nuts – These grow on the Grougler tree and can be picked & eaten. Pets can also forage the ground underneath for a quick meal.
- Whiz – Well it is a tree after all, so…
- Kickbox – Sims earn Body skills while practicing their kicks on it’s sturdy trunk. This also earns Fun points for those with Outdoor or Exercise Interests.
- Carve Art – Sims earn Creativity skills for their carved designs. We don’t judge. They earn them even faster if they have decent Mechanical skills too.
- Study Tree – Sims earn Logic skills by scientifically studying tree phytology. This includes multiple actions such as observing, researching, taking copious notes, etc.
- Rake or Burn Leaves – Leaves can fall from the tree naturally, or if the branches are disturbed by excessive climbing or kicking. Leaf piles can be easily raked away, or safely burned (leaving no carbon footprint). Sims, neat visitors, or the gardener can tackle these tasks.
