A purple and green Sims 2 house with a hedge-lined front walk, large swimming pool, patio seating, and a low dark roof.

Berrybend keeps its playful purple exterior and wide, low roofline, but the lot feels more polished with a hedge-lined front walk, a large pool, and patio seating ready for lazy afternoons. The exterior still has that bright, slightly quirky Sims 2 charm, while the yard gives the house plenty of breathing room and a stronger sense of place.

From the rear, the pool becomes the main outdoor feature, set beside the house with enough open lawn around it to keep the lot feeling relaxed instead of crowded. The darker roof, green accents, and purple walls work together better now, giving the home a cool, berry-toned look without the original color blast taking over the room.

Inside, the layout has been reworked so the bedrooms are reached from a central hallway instead of forcing Sims to parade through one bedroom to get to another. The updated green and grape palette feels calmer and more cohesive, while hardwood flooring throughout helps tie the rooms together. Furnishings have also been upgraded, giving the home a more finished and comfortable feel while still leaving plenty of personality in the mix.

The floor plan offers shared living areas, private bedrooms, bathrooms, and a long central circulation path that makes the home much easier to use. Bedrooms feel more private, the main spaces are easier to furnish, and the whole layout works better for a household that would prefer not to treat bedtime like a public transportation route.

Privacy, hardwood floors, and a pool. Honestly, Berrybend went to finishing school and came back with better furniture.
