A large peach-colored Regency-style building stands behind a brick wall with arched windows, a tower, front gardens, trees, and a curving path.

Best treated as a community Open for Business venue rather than a Bon Voyage-style hotel, this grand Regency building was made before lodging lots were available. It uses OFB ticket kiosks to charge visitors for time spent on the lot instead of a hotel desk, so the gameplay leans more toward a paid-admission resort destination than a functional multi-room hotel. The original lot description frames it as a relaxing adult getaway, with meals, dancing, atmosphere, and peace for Sims escaping work, parenthood, or both.

Walled gardens, patios, stairs, trees, water features, and outdoor seating help sell the resort atmosphere around the back of the building. The lot has no parking, but the grounds give visitors plenty of places to wander before they head inside and start justifying the ticket price one activity at a time.

Dining areas, kitchen space, lounge seating, bathrooms, stair access, and the single suite make the building feel like a grand public venue with one private room tucked into the plan. The suite adds hotel flavor, but the restaurant and social spaces do the heavier gameplay work.

The grand suite gives the lot its strongest hotel detail, with a bed, sitting area, bathroom, bathtub, changing screen, dressers, and rich wood paneling. It feels fancy enough for a special guest, honeymoon couple, or owner’s retreat, even if one suite alone cannot turn the whole lot into a full lodging operation.

An event hall, restaurant seating, dining tables, stairs, outdoor steps, and garden views make this part of the lot feel ready for formal gatherings, dancing, and relaxed evenings out. The desk in the corner gives it a slightly administrative feeling, as if someone should be checking guests in, taking notes, or quietly making sure the peace stays blissful.

The Richmond Regency Hotel may not be much of a hotel by later expansion-pack standards, but as a fancy paid-admission adult getaway, it gives Sims meals, dancing, activities, and enough peace to make the ticket kiosk feel smug.
