A two-story wood-sided house stands behind tall trees, with a dark roof, front porch, large windows, and a mountain rising in the background.

Set among willows, autumn trees, and a rocky hillside, this two-story home has a warm wood exterior, dark roofing, and a sheltered front porch. The large windows and natural surroundings give it a retreat-like feeling, even before the water comes into view.

From above, the house shows off its best feature: a broad wraparound deck bordered by water and trees. The lot has no parking, but the landscaping and waterside placement make it feel more like a quiet hideaway than a standard suburban lot.

The rear deck gives the house plenty of outdoor living space, with room for future seating, fishing-day dreams, or the kind of Sim who insists they are “outdoorsy” because they stood on a deck once. The water wraps close around the back and sides, making the house feel tucked into its own little pondside corner.

Inside, the first floor is unfurnished and open, with a large main room, a tiled kitchen area, staircase, and access points toward the deck. The layout leaves plenty of room for players to decide whether this becomes a cozy retreat, a vacation-style home, or a slightly dramatic place to put one lonely sofa.

Upstairs, the layout gets a little more unusual, with angled rooms, bathroom space, and a front room that would work well as an office. It is not the most obvious floor plan ever built, but the windows and views help make the odd corners feel intentional instead of merely puzzled.

Water Lily is unfurnished, but with all that deck space and scenery, it already brought the atmosphere and left the furniture shopping to you.

Tip: If you want a more normal bedroom, I suggest removing the bathroom in the L-Shaped bedroom, and turning the office into a bathroom.
