Western India (V2)

Lorraine Keller traded familiar faces for career opportunities, but between her culinary skills and outgoing personality, it probably won’t take long before the neighbors start showing up suspiciously close to dinnertime.

She recently relocated and had to leave her newfound love and friends behind for her career. Her new position as an Executive Chef should help introduce her to the locals, but she’ll still need to work her way into the social scene if she wants a raise. As an Aries, Lorraine isn’t the neatest person on the block, but she enjoys meeting people and likes to stay moderately active. She isn’t overly serious, though she does know the difference between work and play. A bit grouchier than most, Lorraine may need to spend some time alone now
and then to keep her mood in check.

Warm colors, decorative windows, and tall palms give this compact suburban home a distinct personality without losing the comfortable familiarity of an American neighborhood house. The exterior mixes practical suburban architecture with subtle Indian-inspired decorative touches, creating a home that feels personal, relaxed, and slightly more artistic than the average lot on the block.

From the angled front view, the broad porch, brick driveway, and layered rooflines help the structure feel larger than its modest footprint suggests. The raised hot tub terrace adds a little extra luxury to the design, quietly announcing that somebody here occasionally enjoys relaxing with a good drink and absolutely no social obligations.

Inside, the layout keeps nearly everything connected through one open central living space. The kitchen, dining, bedroom, and lounge areas flow naturally together while still maintaining enough separation to avoid feeling like somebody accidentally rented a furniture showroom as an apartment.

The open interior design allows natural light and bold color choices to spread throughout the home without making the smaller footprint feel cramped. Decorative arches, jewel-toned walls, and patterned accents help give the space warmth and personality while still keeping the overall layout practical and easy to live in.

Closer interior details reveal the home’s strongest personality through rich colors, patterned flooring, decorative shelving, and layered furnishings that make the space feel comfortably lived-in rather than overly designed.
